JEUNE MONTAGNE

Jeune Montagne produces cheeses and ready meals in southern France. We are based in Aubrac Regional Nature Park in Occitanie Region. Young farmers founded Jeune Montagne in 1960 to maintain the centuries-old local tradition of cheesemaking. 

Jeune Montagne now employs 192 people. We have recently benefited from the European Union support to modernize its factories. Jeune Montagne now has high production capacities. 90 farms are part of our dairy cooperative. Jeune Montagne exclusively uses high quality milk from these PDO and PGI certified farms to make its cheeses.

We are committed to environment protection and animal welfare: all cows are grass-fed, silage and fermented feed are banned, annual average milk production per cow is limited for their well-being.
