- What experience stands out to you from SIAL Paris 2022?

Winning SIAL Innovation 2022 was a defining moment for Uhhmami. It gave us strong international validation and opened doors to conversations we simply wouldn’t have had otherwise. Beyond the award itself, the quality of dialogue with retailers, chefs and food professionals really stood out.

- Did you notice a “SIAL Innovation effect” following your participation and award?

Absolutely. The award created immediate credibility and visibility, especially in international markets. It helped position Uhhmami not just as a new product, but as a new way of thinking about taste, fermentation and sustainable flavour.

- In your view, what makes your brand successful today?

Our success comes from a very clear focus: taste first. Sustainability only works if people actually enjoy eating the food. We combine deep, umami-rich flavour with clean, natural ingredients and practical solutions that fit into real kitchens — both professional and at home.

- How are you evolving your business model to stay competitive?

We are evolving from being a single-product innovation into a broader platform for sustainable everyday meals. With our new Easy Meals range, we focus on scalability, simplicity and climate impact, while staying true to our core values around taste, raw materials and culinary quality.

- Looking back, what do you take away from your SIAL Paris experience?

SIAL Paris confirmed that meaningful innovation is about solving real problems, not just creating novelty. It reinforced our belief that the future of food lies in solutions that combine flavour, sustainability and ease of use.

- Can we count on seeing you again at SIAL Paris 2026?

Yes, absolutely. We will be exhibiting at SIAL Paris 2026 and look very much forward to returning.

- Do you already have an innovation in the works that could take part in the competition?

Yes. We are currently preparing the launch of our newest product series, which builds further on upcycled ingredients, low climate impact and everyday usability. We definitely see potential for participating in SIAL Innovation 2026 and would be delighted to explore that opportunity.
