- What experience stands out to you from SIAL Paris 2024?

The most memorable experience was simply participating in an international exhibition for the first time. Above all, winning an award at SIAL Innovation was truly the highlight for us.

- Did you notice a “SIAL Innovation effect” following your participation and award?

Yes, absolutely. There were two significant effects. First, there has been a growing interest in upcycled food in Korea, and our product is often mentioned as a representative example of this trend. Secondly, our product has received positive recognition in the market. Unlike typical kimchi, our upcycled "Green Leaf Kimchi" has been praised for its innovation and benefits. As a result, the product awarded at SIAL Innovation has successfully entered Costco stores in various countries.

- In your view, what makes your brand successful today?

One of OURHOME’s core management philosophies is “The Spirit of Being First.” We strive to identify market opportunities earlier than others and make them a driving force for the company's growth. The "Green Leaf Kimchi," which won the award at SIAL Innovation, embodies this philosophy and represents the success of our efforts.

- How are you evolving your business model to stay competitive?

OURHOME is an F&B company primarily based on the food service business. We provide catering services to around 600 companies, factories, schools, and public institutions in Korea. Building on this foundation, we operate restaurant businesses and a food ingredient supply business.

Recently, to address the growing demand for single-person households and convenience food, we have been actively expanding our HMR (Home Meal Replacement) business. At the center of this effort is our frozen meal line, “ON THE GO.” These ready-to-eat frozen meals allow consumers to enjoy K-FOOD with just 5-6 minutes in the microwave. With the growing global interest in K-FOOD, we are striving to establish "ON THE GO" as a leading global frozen meal brand.

- Looking back, what do you take away from your SIAL Paris experience?

We were amazed by the scale of the exhibition, as well as the global interest in K-FOOD. It was truly inspiring to see the worldwide recognition of Korean cuisine.

- Can we count on seeing you again at SIAL Paris 2026? Yes, absolutely. We have already applied to participate in the Korean Pavilion and plan to present our products on the largest scale within the pavilion.

- In 2026, SIAL Innovation will celebrate its 30th anniversary and be at the very heart of SIAL Paris — do you already have an innovation in the works that could take part in the competition?

Of course! We already have many innovative products, and we are actively developing more specifically for SIAL Paris 2026 to showcase on this grand platform.
