Nivex Frozen, the dedicated frozen arm of family-owned Egyptian grower Nivex Farms, is presenting its IQF (Individually Quick Frozen) range at SIAL, 5A U196. Nivex Farms has supplied retailers across the UK and Europe since 1978.

The range covers strawberries, green beans, peas, broccoli, artichokes, spring onions and mixed vegetables. Strawberries were Nivex's first frozen product, with around 10,000 tonnes per year produced.

Nivex grows on its own farms and with partner growers in several regions of Egypt, which supports year-round supply. Quality control runs in-house from land preparation to final packing, with QA engineers on the farms and crop protection managed centrally across all growers. The cold chain starts within minutes of harvest, using Nivex's own refrigerated trucks, and the IQF line is certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 22000.
