The company was founded in 1969 by a family from Cetara—a small village on the Amalfi Coast renowned for fishing and the processing of tuna, anchovies, and the traditional anchovy extract.

Thanks to our strong bond with the local area, we at IASA have succeeded in bringing niche products—which preserve ancient traditions—to a wider market. These include anchovies and anchovy extract, as well as tuna caught along the Mediterranean coast, such as albacore (white tuna), Mediterranean little tunny ,and the highly prized bluefin tuna.
