Sustainable innovation and CSR initiatives in the spotlight in this agri-food competition
Building on the momentum of the SIAL For Change space, the competition remains a key pillar of the initiative, bringing together start-ups, SMEs, and large companies from across the agri-food sector. All participants are committed to showcasing their sustainable, ethical, solidarity-driven, environmentally responsible, and fair initiatives, actively contributing to the transformation of the industry.
For this edition, the competition also opens up to European start-ups and SMEs beyond the event’s exhibitors. By partnering with The Foodies, the first European award dedicated to sustainable agri-food SMEs and supported by the European Commission, SIAL For Change strengthens its reach and impact across the wider ecosystem.
Participating companies are evaluated based on criteria including originality, impact, scalability, as well as alignment with major sustainability objectives and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) principles.
For visitors, this means:
- A wider diversity of initiatives
- A broader overview of responsible innovations across Europe and internationally
- A rigorous selection process led by an independent jury of CSR experts and industry professionals
- The opportunity to meet shortlisted companies recognised for their CSR commitment through a dedicated thematic journey
The awards ceremony will take place on 18 October 2026, on the SIAL Talks stage, a key highlight not to be missed.
