Natural shelled pistachios (100 g bag) - <p>The fruit of the pistachio tree (Pistacia vera) is produced in several areas worldwide (Iran, Turkey, USA, etc.) but there are places in Spain with the right climatic and soil conditions for this crop. As with the pine nut, walnut, almond and hazelnut, Spanish pistachio production is of superior quality from both an organoleptic and nutritional perspective. The pistachio is high in fibre, phosphorous and iron, as well as proteins (approx. 22% protein content).</p><p>The processing, shelling and selection process of our pistachios is totally natural; we use no chemical products.</p><p>The majority of our production comes from irrigated land, which gives our pistachios their freshness and characteristic deep green colour.</p><p>From our certified farms. The custody chain in ensured and the full factory production process is certified by the Organic Farming Board of Castile and León (CAECYL).</p><p><br /></p>

Our cooperative occupies a 3,000 square metre plot of land, on which we have built the warehouses, equipped with all the machinery necessary for the processing of pine nuts, including a powerful crusher, washing machine, electronic sorting machine and a large-capacity cold store, which allows the pine nuts to be kept in optimum conditions until they are sold.

We have expanded the initial facilities by incorporating the necessary machinery for the processing and selection of pistachio nuts, respecting the same health and food safety requirements that we already had in place for the production of pine nuts.

Finally, packaging in our own factory completes a process that begins in the field and ends on the table of our customers and consumers, to whom we guarantee a fully traceable product, with a guarantee of origin and maximum quality.
