Detailed description
Glykes Efches is an exceptionally limited-production sweet wine, created from grapes that undergo a natural concentration process directly on the vine.
At optimum ripeness, the water supply to each bunch is carefully restricted, allowing the grapes to dehydrate gradually while remaining on the plant. This meticulous process naturally concentrates the sugars, aromas and flavours of the fruit, resulting in remarkable richness and aromatic intensity.
Produced in extremely small quantities, the wine is vinified and matured for 24 months in acacia barrels, gaining complexity, texture and refinement while preserving its freshness and distinctive fruit character.
A rare wine defined by patience, precision and concentration, Glykes Efches expresses a unique balance between natural sweetness, depth and elegance.

Vinification
Glykes Efches is produced in exceptionally limited quantities from carefully selected grapes that undergo a natural concentration process while still on the vine.
At optimum ripeness, the stem supporting each bunch is carefully treated to restrict the flow of water to the grapes. The fruit remains on the vine, where gradual dehydration naturally concentrates its sugars, aromas and flavours, resulting in grapes of remarkable richness and intensity.
The naturally concentrated grapes are harvested in very small quantities and vinified with particular care, preserving the balance between sweetness, aromatic intensity and freshness.
Ageing
The wine is vinified and matured in acacia wood barrels for 24 months. Acacia contributes subtle complexity and texture while allowing the purity and aromatic expression of the concentrated fruit to remain at the forefront.
Winemaking Philosophy
Glykes Efches is conceived as an exceptional, naturally sweet wine, produced through patience, precision and extremely low yields. Natural concentration on the vine creates extraordinary richness and depth, while prolonged maturation in acacia barrels brings refinement, complexity and balance.
Its very limited production reflects the demanding nature of the process and the meticulous selection required to create a wine of this concentration and character.
