Dried tomatoes and sun-dried tomatoes in oil - <p>A very Mediterranean product, well known in the Spanish Levante region. Made with our finest tomatoes, always sourced from Spain, and oven-dried to ensure food safety. Our grandmothers’ traditional method was to lay the tomatoes on roof tiles in the sun, covered, adding nothing but salt. Bonnysa sticks to the original recipe, but uses an oven-drying process, and unlike our competitors, we do NOT add sulphites, making ours the most natural sun-dried tomatoes.</p><p><br /></p><p>In the oil-preserved variety, the sun-dried tomatoes are packed in a jar and covered in oil; we can also create variations by adding spices.</p><p><br /></p><p>The standard sun-dried tomatoes are sold in plastic bags, whilst the oil-preserved variety comes in glass jars.</p>
