Bel Colle

Bel Colle is a historic winery located in Verduno, one of the most distinctive villages of the Langhe and the Barolo wine region, in Piedmont. Surrounded by vineyards and overlooking the hills recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the winery has built its identity around a deep connection with its territory and its native grape varieties.

Since 2015, Bel Colle has been part of Bosio Family Estates, combining its heritage and traditional winemaking philosophy with the vision and expertise of the Bosio family. Today, the winery is led by third-generation winemaker Luca Bosio together with oenologist Mario Albrito.

Nebbiolo lies at the heart of Bel Colle’s production, with a prestigious collection of Barolo and Barbaresco wines, including expressions from renowned vineyards such as Monvigliero, Bussia and Pajorè. The range also includes the exceptional Barolo Riserva 10 Anni, released only after ten years of maturation and created to showcase the extraordinary ageing potential and complexity of Nebbiolo.

Bel Colle is also deeply connected to Verduno Pelaverga, the rare native grape variety that represents one of the most distinctive expressions of the winery’s home territory. Alongside its great reds, the portfolio includes Alta Langa DOCG traditional-method sparkling wines and other classic Piedmontese varieties, creating a collection that reflects the remarkable diversity of the Langhe.

Tradition, terroir and contemporary winemaking come together in every Bel Colle wine, with the aim of expressing the authenticity, elegance and unique character of Piedmont to wine lovers around the world.
