In a world made for speed, we choose another rhythm.


Our oils come from nuts and seeds that grow wild or in the yards and family gardens of Ukrainian villages, on some of the most fertile soil on earth — never on a plantation or an industrial field. The families who gather and grow them prepare every harvest by hand, at home, the way their grandparents did.

Only a few products can be grown this way, so we make only a few oils.

We press slowly with French and Austrian artisan techniques and add nothing.

Every year fewer people are left to carry on this tradition, and choosing Slow Oils says their work matters.

Since more than ten years, Agromex has been supplying food ingredients to wholesalers and distributors across Europe. The business started with strong focus on walnuts and then expanded into other ingredients – to cover more needs of customers in Bakery and Pastry industries. 

One main principle drives everything we do: optimising our operations efficiency to be competitive on the market, without compromising food safety, product quality or regulatory compliance.

  • Efficient, flexible logistics across the EU: based in Hungary with warehousing in strategic EU locations, we plan the trucks in a way to optimize transport costs and increase the speed of delivery time, while maintaining flexibility for lower minimum order. We also provide safety stocks and annual contracts with programmed deliveries
  • Direct sourcing from origin: we buy at origin through a network of trusted partners, so the value of the transaction stays in the product, its quality control and the services needed to deliver it — not in layers of intermediation. 
  • Information, not just ingredients: Speed matters when you are managing availability, pricing and production schedules. Stock, landed cost and availability sit in one system, so a price you ask for today reflects today. Weekly price updates with market trends update are available in several languages to tell you what moved, what held steady, and why.
