Having started business in the 1950s as a baklava

maker, Seyidoğlu expanded into a corporate structure

in the 1970s under the leadership of our Executive Board

Chairman Necati Göksu, who founded Seyidoğlu Food

Industry and Trade Inc. and added helva, j am and

tahini-molasses varieties to the company’s product

range. Rapidly growing both locally and internationally,

today Seyidoğlu has become a popular brand with

consumers in both Turkey and numerous other

countries.

This adventure, which started with the production of 150

kilos of Halva per day, has been continuing since 2005

by producing 40 tons of Halva, 60 tons of Jam, 30 tons

of Hazelnut Cream with Cocoa and 20 tons of Tahini-

Molasses in facilities with a closed area of 8 thousand

square meters in Hadımköy, Istanbul. Seyidoğlu

Gıda increased its closed production area to over 20

thousand square meters with the investment in the

new factory and additional facility.
