COVI SAS is a French food and drink company, founded in 1967, specialising in the manufacture of retort-processed products and ready meals.
Its expertise covers a wide variety of recipes: traditional French dishes (beef bourguignon, blanquette, sauerkraut…), exotic dishes (chilli con carne, rougail, paella, curry…), Italian dishes (ravioli, lasagne, pasta), as well as vegetarian recipes based on cereals, vegetables and pulses. COVI also produces a wide range of tinned meats (corned beef, luncheon meat), offal products, pâtés, terrines and game products, featuring both traditional and creative recipes.
The company has an R&D team capable of developing bespoke recipes and adapting products to meet clients’ specifications.
COVI specialises in a range of packaging solutions: metal tins, cylindrical or shaped tins, Doypack pouches, microwaveable trays, as well as glass jars and pots.
The formats are also varied, ranging from individual portions of 78g to 320g up to large packs of 1.8 to 2.6 kg, depending on the product and packaging.
The group has three production sites in France and offers both conventional and organic products, as well as solutions tailored to the vegetarian, halal, kosher and gluten-free markets.
Finally, COVI holds recognised certifications within the agri-food sector, notably IFS Food at all three sites and BRC on two sites.
