Contrada Rivella

Contrada Rivella is a Piedmontese winery based in Castagnole delle Lanze, where tradition, territorial identity and a contemporary vision come together. Its story began between the 1960s and 1970s with Renato Sobrino, who started producing wine in his family’s garage and gradually built a winery deeply rooted in the local winemaking tradition.

In 2025, the Bosio family embraced this heritage and opened a new chapter in its history, preserving its original values while bringing new energy, expertise and an international vision. Today, under the guidance of Luca Bosio, Contrada Rivella is part of Bosio Family Estates and represents the group’s commitment to exploring and enhancing some of Piedmont’s most distinctive wine territories.

The collection brings together prestigious appellations and native grape varieties from across the region, including Nizza DOCG, Barbera d’Asti DOCG Superiore, Ruché di Castagnole Monferrato DOCG, Gavi DOCG, Colli Tortonesi Timorasso DOC, Piemonte Sauvignon DOC and Moscato d’Asti DOCG.
