Pure Gum Licorice Bateaux

Our range of Pure Gum Liquorice Bateaux confectionery exists in different flavors and finishes. We have the smooth varnished boats with a violet flavoring, and a sugar-coated candy finish for which the flavoring is anise.

Our Pure Gomme range has gum arabic as its main ingredient. Gum arabic is extracted by incising Acacia Senegal trees, it is a naturally low-calorie resin which has many health benefits, particularly for the digestive system with its rich contribution in dietary fiber which helps nourish the intestinal flora.

Its name is associated with Calabria, because originally the licorice used for this candy came from this region of Italy. The Calabrian boats is a happy blend of sweet licorice and powerful anise.
