Green olives Picholines

The Picholine olive is a very well known Mediterranean variety. It is slightly crunchy with a grassy tang to it often mixed with a nutty flavour. Its shape is that of a rugby ball. The Picholine olive is rustic, harvested in October, it is the best known French olive.
