More than ever before, SIAL 2010 was attuned to the development and globalisation of the food sector. Some 5,838 exhibitors (compared with 5,500 in 2008) from 106 countries attended the show, with France the leading exhibitor country. This figure was up by 6% compared with the previous exhibition.
