In 2014, in partnership with Pain Vin & Company and Le Monde de l’Epicerie Fine, SIAL created the Wine & Food Lab, a feature dedicated to Fine Food and Wine Combinations.
The Wine & Food Lab masterclasses
For the first time, in partnership with Pain Vin & Company and le Monde de l’Epicerie Fine, SIAL laid on 20 masterclasses. The events took place throughout the five days of the show, shining a spotlight on many exhibitors' products and a range of subtle food and wine pairings.
A few key examples
A glass of Champagne Piper Heidsieck with Salés de Reims biscuits, from Maison Fossier, or a glass of Saké Daishichi Kimoto by Fabulous Brand paired with mackerel rillettes in traditional mustard, by Mouettes d’Arvor.
Wine & Food Lab label
New in 2016 : the Wine & Food Lab has now its own label! Thanks to it, selected exhibitors will be able to communicate on their booth and to invite visitors on their masterclass.
