New talents of gastronomy
For the first time ever, SIAL Paris has awarded a New Talents of French Gastronomy prize, on Monday October 17th. Open to chefs, sommeliers and front house staff, the competition, organized by “Le Cercle”, will shine light on up-and-coming professionals from all over France.
Candidates had compete against each other with a duck dishes and blazed crêpes with Grand Marnier.
In addition to bringing out the talent of tomorrow, the competition allowed visitors glimpse at how the gastronomy of the future is being invented.
“Our aim is to allow tomorrow’s talent to express itself in SIAL’s international environment,” explains Michel Blanchet, Honorary President of the “Maîtres Cuisiniers de France”.
Famous chefs will be present at SIAL Paris
The chef with the 26 Michelin stars, Joël Robuchon, is the patron of SIAL Paris 2016.
