Acting as a meeting point for the foodservice professions, SIAL highlights the catering occupations and stages exhibitors’ foodservice products at its flagship event, La Cuisine by SIAL.
Staging culinary demonstrations, la Cuisine by SIAL will inaugurate a VIP restaurant in 2012 that provides a world tour of innovations in cuisine and enhances exhibitors’ foodservice products. Also new: a showroom of gourmet and foodservice products.
Some 17% of visitors to SIAL, the multi-specialist and generalist exhibition, are from the foodservice sector: commercial catering, institutional catering, retailers, wholesalers, caterers and more... Some 23,185 foodservice professionals attended SIAL in 2010, discovering an innovative, international offering.
In 2010, 71% of visitors from the sector discovered new foodservice products in the Trends & Innovations area.
